Anne and Nathan’s wedding day was a dream for me. It all started with a beautiful vision to create a space that was warm and welcoming. Inspired by colorful and lush gardens, the creative team designed beautiful floral arrangements and incorporated plenty of upscale details to enhance the experience. Inviting lounges were added to create space for conversation. Beyond the visuals, you couldn’t have asked for a better and more humble couple to work alongside. The connection Anne has with her mother was unbelievable; there were plenty of tears shed and hugs to be given.

Anne and Nathan were married this May at Blue Bell Farm, a historic farm wedding venue located in Fayette, Missouri. Our team loved every moment from this wedding day, which was full of joy, laughter, and plenty of touching moments.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Anne’s florist designed totally unique real flower earrings for her to wear. It was the perfect touch to a wedding inspired by a garden party.

• It had been such a dreary April, so we were beyond delighted when the weather was amazing literally all day. Guests enjoyed the weather so much that we did a last-minute switcheroo, moving the toasts to the venue’s outdoor patio. It was a wonderful moment to be enjoyed by all.

• Anne and Nathan along with Anne’s son are incredibly thoughtful and kind people, and it is apparent that the relationships in their lives are incredibly important. Anne honored her late father with a memorial table located just inside the venue’s main entrance. Maxwell gave not one but two toasts that evening, and I certainly teared up when he gave a toast to Nathan, thanking him for all that he has done for him and all the joy he adds to his mother’s life. Okay, I’m not crying…are you crying?

We provided them with ongoing planning guidance, attended design meetings, created a detailed timeline, facilitated the rehearsal, co-led setup with our creative partners, and so much more. I'm a girl that lives in her Chacos during the summer, and I'm typically always wearing lipstick. Yes, red is my preference! When I'm not helping engaged couples plan weddings, you'll find me on stage teaching Jazzercise classes. Needless to say, creating engaging experiences that leave people feeling good afterwards is my passion. Seriously!
