Annemarie and Nick originally planned to celebrate their marriage in June of this past year, but COVID-19 caused them to revaluate and come up with a new plan. Instead, these two exchanged their vows on a warm, sunny September day at Cooper’s Ridge Event Venue, a charming wedding venue located in Boonville, Missouri. Annemarie and Nick immediately fell in love with Cooper’s Ridge. In Annemarie’s words, she “loved the feel of it, and the fact that it was already my "style" even before it had wedding decor in it.”

Annemarie chose a casually sophisticated color palette for their wedding, which included plenty of white, cream, brown, blue, and light gray. Her bridal bouquet included fresh eucalyptus, roses, and anemones. The bridesmaids wore floor-length blue dresses while the men sported light gray suits and corresponding blue ties. To play up the rustic charm of the venue, Annemarie selected a variety of lanterns and candle holders to decorate the space. Plenty of fresh greenery provided a pop of color against the venue’s custom-made farm tables.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Annemarie and Nick’s son, Easton, played a huge role on their wedding day. He was one of the trusted ring bearers!

• Nick and Annemarie’s friends have had a huge impact on their lives as a couple. Their officiant was their small group leader, and friends from church provided special music during the unity ceremony.

• I’ve never been asked to sign the marriage license for a client before, and this was a first! I’m so honored that Annemarie would ask me to sign as a witness to their marriage. Thank you, and much love to you both!

When I'm not helping engaged couples plan weddings, you'll find me on stage teaching Jazzercise classes. Needless to say, creating engaging experiences that leave people feeling good afterwards is my passion. Seriously!
