Ellen + Ben | A Wedding at Blue Bell Farm
Ellen and Ben said “I do” on a lovely October day at the historic estate venue, Blue Bell Farm in Fayette, Missouri. This picturesque wedding venue provided a wonderful backdrop for their outdoor ceremony; nothing beats the rolling hills and green pastures of Missouri farmland. The weather for their October wedding was cool, but refreshing.
Ellen selected a classic and chic color palette for any modern bride. The wedding palette included crisp white flowers, accents of black and gold, small pops of blush, and plenty of fresh eucalyptus. Ellen chose a simple but beautiful satin bridal gown, which included hidden pockets. Her bridesmaids wore classic, strapless gowns in black. The men sported black tuxedos, a perfect finish to this classic and chic wedding. Everything about their wedding celebration screamed classic black tie.
HIGHLIGHTS
Ellen and Ben opted for a First Look, which allowed them to spend most of the day with each other. Additionally, they had the ability to take portraits during the first look and after the ceremony. Talk about a wide selection of photos to choose from!
Ben had the most amazing bowtie made from feather. The officiant wore a complimentary boutonniere.
You often hear stories about how the bride will have her ceremony bridal gown and then a reception outfit, but you never hear about the groom. Ben wore his black tuxedo for the ceremony and changed into a dashing white coat before the evening reception.
It was an honor to support this couple celebrate their wedding day to the fullest. For Ben and Ellen’s wedding coordination services, they hired the In-House Coordination team at Blue Bell Farm to lead a variety of planning meetings, created a detailed timeline, oversaw setup and details, managed vendor arrivals and departure, assisted with basic decor breakdown, and so much more. Thank you, Ben and Ellen, for inviting the Coordination Team of Blue Bell Farm and Plan it Terra to be part of your special day. Many thanks to KKP Associate Photographer, Karson, with Kelsi Kliethermes Photography for sharing these wonderful photos that will be treasured forever.

Hey, I’m Terra!
Born and raised in Missouri, I’m a grateful wife and dog mom to my rescue pups, Hildi & Lola. I’m a true believer in the pursuit of bold dreams, learning from mistakes, and staying curious.
I'm a girl that lives in her Chacos during the summer, and I'm typically always wearing lipstick. Yes, red is my preference! When I'm not helping engaged couples plan weddings, you'll find me on stage teaching Jazzercise classes. Needless to say, creating engaging experiences that leave people feeling good afterwards is my passion. Seriously!
I’ve created this blog and my wedding packages to empower you to plan an awesome wedding day and put all of the stress and obligations straight into the dumpster! Now that sounds like a party.
