First comes love, then comes puppies, then comes marriage! Isn’t that how is always works??

Madalyn and Melvin began their love story in March of 2019 in Columbia, MO. They then added to their family by getting a puppy named Mabel, I mean come on how adorable is that name. After time together as new pup family of three, and many adventures had, they decided it was time to make things official! These two love birds got engaged in January 2020 and have been planning their dream wedding ever since!

Oh and added another fur baby, Denali to the clan!

Tell me about how you and justin met.

We met on Tender!

Who proposed? Tell me about it!

Melvin proposed to me on our trip to Mexico in January. We were there for our friend's birthday and we went down to the beach one morning for "pictures in front of the sunrise" and that's when he popped the question.

How did you pick the Sorenson Estate as your wedding venue?

It was small but still had plenty of space and we wanted outdoors but still nice and more on the formal side.

How did you find all of your vendors?

I found all of my vendors referrals from friends who have recently got married.

So far, what aspect of planning has been the most enjoyable?

I have enjoyed picking out color ideas, and touring the venue.

Do you have any advice for recently engaged couples?

My advice would be to have a long engagement. There is no rush and if you can do things slowly but get it down well when you plan it longer.

What are you most excited about for the day of the wedding?

I am most excited for Melvin to see my in my dress!

I hired a planner to take away my stress!
