I am so excited to share this amazing engagement story and session with you! Zoe and Jake reached out to me last September even though their wedding was almost an entire year away. I immediately knew this couple was bringing their A game when it came to wedding planning. Zoe is so thoughtful and full of energy, and I knew that helping them plan the logistics of the wedding would be fabulous. Zoe and Jake are planning a fun, upbeat wedding at The Millbottom, located in Jefferson City, Missouri. I cannot wait to celebrate with them!

I asked Zoe and Jake a few questions about them and the planning process so far; check out their responses below!

How did Jake propose?

Jake proposed with a scavenger hunt all around town at our favorite spots, with little clues and pictures pertaining to each clue at each spot. The last spot was in front of a pond at my sister's house and included our dog, Hank.

How did you meet?

Jake and I met on Match.com. We talked online for a few weeks, and officially met in person at Murry's for our first date!

What are three words to describe the feel of your upcoming wedding?

Party - Fun - Love

Do you have any advice for recently engaged brides to help them stay stress-free throughout the planning process?

Hire Terra! ;) Make spreadsheets in Google Drive related to fees, guest lists, to-do lists, vendors, etc. Keep it all in one spot that you can access anywhere!

So far, what aspect of planning your wedding been the most fun?

Finding vendors and crossing things off the list!

What are you most excited about for your wedding?

Family and friends all together having fun!

What made you decide to hire a planner?

I knew that I wanted to fully enjoy my big day - I didn't want to worry about vendors or the small details after all of the work I've done to get to that big day! I want to enjoy it without being on my phone all day, and enjoy the people around me.
