Becca and Brenton are some of the most genuine, thoughtful people I know. They were a dream to partner with on their wedding day as it was filled with modern sophistication, special attention to detail, and energy!

GETTING READY

Becca recalls of when they first met, which was a complete chance encounter on a sidewalk. The two ran into each other outside of The Penguin Dueling Piano Bar, located in Columbia, Missouri. Sparks flew immediately, and this couple has been inseparable since. As Becca writes to Brenton, “When dad called me a princess, I never realized that I’d live a fairytale. Thank you for being there to let me be who I always wanted to be.”

BRIDAL PARTY

Becca chose a stunning a-line gown from Nolte’s Bridal, located just outside of Kansas City. She opted out of a traditional ivory gown in favor of something with a bit more color. Becca’s bridesmaids wore white halter-top gowns from Bella Bridesmaids. The men sported navy suits from Menswearhouse.

ST. ANDREW’S CATHOLIC CHURCH | CEREMONY

Becca and Brenton chose to exchange their vows at Becca’s home church in Tipton, Missouri. Gathered together with their families and loved ones, the two said their, “I dos.”

The two selected The Millbottom as the host venue for their reception; a blend of modern and industrial, it provided the perfect backdrop for their sophisticated wedding styled with white florals and brass accents.

I love how Maid of Honor, Madeline, describes the love Becca shares for Brenton, “Brenton made her nervous, happy, and a little scared in the beginning because deep down she already knew he was the one”

THE MILLBOTTOM IN JEFFERSON CITY, MISSOURI | RECEPTION

Becca and Brenton started off the evening with cutting their wedding cake, followed by 4 toasts from friends, then first dances with loved ones. As tribute to their chance meeting on a sidewalk years before, the two entertained their crowd with a dueling piano group that brought down the house. I loved every minute of this day, and I am so thrilled to have worked with Becca and Brenton this year. Congratulations to the happy couple!
