Enter Terra from Plan it Terra Wedding Planning & Design. From the very first conversation, Terra's passion and dedication resonated deeply with Morgan and Josh, captivating their hearts.

Living in the heart of Columbia, Missouri, Morgan and Josh dreamed of a wedding day filled with pure joy, centered around their love and cherished relationships. Inspired by the magical allure of a secret garden, they envisioned a celebration that would transport their guests to a whimsical oasis of beauty and love.

For the exchange of vows and the sacred communion, Morgan and Josh chose the historic St. Joseph's Cathedral in Westphalia, a cherished place close to their hearts. As for the picturesque setting for their celebration, they discovered The Branch, a charming venue nestled in the quaint town of Lohman, which perfectly captured the essence of their garden-themed wedding vision.

We were delighted to collaborate with Morgan and Josh, orchestrating every detail to bring their enchanting spring wedding to fruition. As trusted partners in their journey, our comprehensive planning services ensured a seamless experience from start to finish. From curating a stellar vendor team to conceptualizing the design vision and developing a precise timeline and production schedule, we were there every step of the way to support them. On the wedding day itself, our presence ensured flawless execution, allowing the couple to savor every precious moment without a worry in the world.

Getting Ready at The Branch in Lohman, Missouri

The wedding day dawned early for the ladies, as they gathered in the stillness of The Branch in Lohman. Even before the sun graced the sky, the bridal suite was alive with the hum of anticipation and laughter, each moment tinged with the promise of the day ahead. The ladies received professional hair and makeup applications utilizing the venue’s expansive getting ready bar, which added a tremendous amount of ease to the day.

Pre-Ceremony Portraits

As the ladies made their way to the church, Josh and his groomsmen added the final touches to their attire at the historic St. Joseph’s Cathedral. With a skillful touch, our team ensured that boutonnieres were perfectly pinned, while laughter and camaraderie filled the air as the men eagerly anticipated the day's events. Amidst the timeless architecture of the cathedral, the gentlemen paused to capture enduring portraits, preserving the bonds of friendship and the excitement of the moment.

Romantic Bridal Attire

Morgan’s bridal look was a vision of grace, romance, and ethereal beauty. She looked absolutely stunning. The delicate butterfly sleeves floated gracefully, complementing the tiered skirt of her dress perfectly. The intricate floral and butterfly 3D appliques were a flawless choice for this luxury garden-inspired wedding. Every element of Morgan’s bridal ensemble was meticulously chosen and impeccably executed. Furthermore, the attire selected for the bridesmaids seamlessly added to the overall theme, enhancing the enchanting atmosphere of the day.

First Looks & Adoration

Morgan's heartfelt desire to share her bridal look with her father and brothers underscored the genuine bonds within her family. Witnessing her father's speechless reaction and her brothers' affectionate embrace brought warmth, affirming the love that would carry through the day. Our team kept repeating all day, “Morgan is a beautiful bride.”

While opting not to have a first look, Josh and Morgan found solace in a quiet, tender moment together. Holding hands, they shared a serene pause, grounding themselves in love and prayer before stepping into the monumental occasion awaiting them.

Joy-Filled - Organic - Romantic - Garden

As the sun rose on Saturday, Morgan and Josh's dedicated vendor team began adorning The Branch in Lohman, transforming it into a picturesque setting for their elevated spring wedding reception. While our expert wedding planning team orchestrated preparations for the church ceremony, our meticulous crew remained at the reception venue, diligently overseeing the final setup and vendor arrivals. With intentional care, florals were intentionally set, and each place setting was adorned with exquisite detail, ensuring a flawless ambiance for the anticipated arrival of guests.

Hand Crafted Design Elements

The reception details were thoughtfully curated, with several elements lovingly handcrafted. The sweetheart table was a standout feature, adorned with a custom hand-painted backdrop that perfectly matched the couple’s wedding invitations. Each signage item was delicately created, exuding elegance and charm. The stationer incorporated real, dried florals from her collection into the table numbers and used hand calligraphy to craft place cards that resembled beautiful seed packets. Many of the floral arrangements were designed onsite, allowing for spontaneous bursts of creativity and ensuring the pieces felt truly organic and harmonious within the space. The overall effect was a dreamlike setting, where every detail was a testament to the couple's love and the personalized touch of their unforgettable celebration.

Indoor Spring Wedding at a Catholic Church

It's always heartwarming to see the personal touches our couples infuse into their wedding ceremonies. Morgan and Josh's day was a beautiful celebration of their faith and love. Since they opted for tradition and didn't want to see each other until the ceremony, our team worked diligently to ensure they remained separate beforehand. It was a delicate balance to avoid any accidental encounters.

Josh's reaction upon seeing Morgan walking down the aisle was truly priceless! Both were radiating with joy as Morgan's father proudly escorted her. They chose to include a full mass, exchanging vows before partaking in holy communion surrounded by their loved ones. Live musicians filled the air with beautiful hymns, adding to the joyful atmosphere. After the ceremony, the couple shared a moment with their wedding party outside the church before we organized family photos.

Spring Wedding Reception Reveal

Accompanied by their wedding party, Morgan and Josh posed for portraits around the church grounds before heading to The Branch. The aim was to ensure the couple could enjoy the reception space before anyone else arrived. Our team guided them inside with closed eyes, unveiling the space with a countdown. As they opened their eyes, Morgan was visibly awestruck, exclaiming, "This is amazing."

Hand-in-hand, they explored the reception area, admiring the spring floral arrangements and sweet, intentional details planned over the past months. Tears welled up as Morgan embraced our team, expressing heartfelt gratitude.

Afternoon Portraits

Once the couple had soaked in the reception ambiance, Morgan and Josh ventured outside to conclude their portrait session with their wedding party. It was a picture perfect Saturday wedding.

Sentimental Wedding Details

Morgan and Josh were dedicated to ensuring their wedding day was filled with intentional details and an exceptional experience for all their guests. Their reception kicked off with a heartfelt first dance with the couple singing to each other as they twirled to the sweet melody of "Love Is" by Allan McKinlay.

Their celebration continued with a unique dessert choice: pizzookie, a warm chocolate chip cookie served with fresh ice cream. Fulfilling this request required careful planning and coordination, but our team rose to the challenge. Guests were delighted as warm cast iron skillets, brimming with gooey goodness, were delivered to each table.

It was a sweet and memorable detail that perfectly encapsulated Morgan and Josh's commitment to creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for their loved ones.

Morgan and Josh envisioned a joy-filled, beautiful spring celebration in Central Missouri, hiring an A-List team to help bring everything together so that they could fully immerse themselves in the day with their loved ones.
