A Sweet Estate Wedding at Blue Bell Farm

A Summer Wedding at Blue Bell Farm

Abbie and Seth were married this past June at Blue Bell Farm, a gorgeous estate venue located just outside of Columbia, Missouri. This intimate wedding will be one to remember. 2020 has been the year COVID-19, which also brought a lot of uncertainty about weddings and gatherings. Despite the possibility of a smaller wedding and additional precautions put into place for safety reasons, Abbie and Seth wanted to move forward with getting married and celebrating their union with their closest loved ones. This could not have been done without an amazingly flexible vendor team and the leadership provided by Jamie, owner of Blue Bell Farm.

These two wove many personal details into their wedding day. For instance, the wedding cake topper was used at Abbie’s parent’s wedding. Additionally, the baker for her parents wedding made the cake for Abbie and Seth’s wedding!

It was the perfect weekend for Abbie, Seth, and their friends and family to explore, relax, and most importantly celebrate! Overlooking the scenic farmland, Abbie and Seth said their emotional “I Do’s!” After the ceremony, guests were invited to join them for dinner inside followed by a dance party out on the venue’s back deck. Before the two could say their goodbyes, their guests wished them well with a sparkler exit. Congratulations again, Abbie and Seth!

Thank you Toni Wieberg Photography for capturing this amazing wedding day!

Terra Nickelson of Plan it Terra

Hey, I’m Terra!

Born and raised in Missouri, I’m a grateful wife and dog mom to my rescue pups, Hildi & Lola. I’m a true believer in the pursuit of bold dreams, learning from mistakes, and staying curious.

I'm a girl that lives in her Chacos during the summer, and I'm typically always wearing lipstick. Yes, red is my preference! When I'm not helping engaged couples plan weddings, you'll find me on stage teaching Jazzercise classes. Needless to say, creating engaging experiences that leave people feeling good afterwards is my passion. Seriously!

I’ve created this blog and my wedding packages to empower you to plan an awesome wedding day and put all of the stress and obligations straight into the dumpster! Now that sounds like a party.
