Outdoor Missouri Wedding at Kempker's Back 40
Kamry and Connor wedding at the picturesque Kempker’s Back 40, located just East of Jefferson City, Missouri, took place just this past September. This lively, adventurous couple had their minds set on a delightfully upbeat wedding celebration and were some of the happiest, easy-going people I’ve ever met, which made coordinating their wedding that much more fun!

Connor and Kamry’s Wedding at Kempker’s Back 40
Kamry wanted to create a whimsical experience by selecting plenty of whites, eucalyptus greens, and a dash of soft lavender. She also included plenty of personal touches, which included a custom cake topper that looked just like their dogs.
First Looks and Wedding Party Portraits
Kamry and her father did a First Look, and took an opportunity to recreate a childhood photo. Connor decided to do a First Look with his mother, which turned into a joyous and tearful moment. I absolutely adore these close bonds between the couple and their parents.
Connor is probably a self-proclaimed nerd, and I loved all of the sweet touches he added. I had never seen a groom give his groomsmen REAL ninja swords as a thank you gift; they made for some awesome photos.
Ceremony in the Courtyard
A unique circle ceremony setup, the couple was married in the center of Kempker’s Back 40’s courtyard. The ceremony site featured a cross adorned with a flowy chiffon sash and eucalyptus garland.
Portraits
The couple spent plenty of time taking portraits with their photographer. I love the portraits of Kamry and Connor inside a boat. These photos are reminiscent of their engagement photos.
First Dances
What truly tugged at my heart strings was the couple’s first dance; the song was a complete surprise for the couple. I have never been part of wedding where there was absolute silence during a first dance. Oh gosh, I’m getting chills just thinking about that moment from their wedding day. I sincerely love the expressions from Kamry and Connor as they applaud the musicians (keep scrolling!). After dancing with their friends and families, they finished their night with a sparkler exit and headed off into wedded bliss.
