Adrianna + Ryan | A Timeless, Sophisticated Wedding at the Country Club of Missouri
Adrianna and Ryan met in college at Westminster, which is a small college located in Fulton, Missouri. Westminster College was the obvious choice for them to get married at when the two started to think about venues after getting engaged. The college is home to The Church of St. Mary the Virgin Aldermanbury, which is a historic church with roots in London, England. The two then chose to celebrate their union in Columbia at the Country Club of Missouri, which provided the perfect classic backdrop for their celebration.
Adrianna and Ryan were certainly busy over the course of their engagement, moving across state lines and working busy hours at their jobs. Adrianna knew that it would be important to hire a planner to help them get to the finish line. Here’s what Adrianna had to say about why they decided to hire a planner, “When we moved to Florida for my job, I knew that I couldn't do it alone.”
Adrianna and Ryan spent the morning getting ready at separate locations before reuniting on the Westminster campus where it all began. In order to capture every stunning portrait photo possible, the couple chose to nix the getting ready photos and have their photographer, Sarah Corbett, begin her time with them at the first look location.
Their black and white color scheme was elegant and timeless. It was a perfect way to accent the historic beauty of the National Churchill Museum Chapel. On this storybook September day, the loved ones of Adrianna and Ryan gathered to witness the exchanging of vows and their commitment to their marriage and to God.
After the ceremony and bubble exit, guests traveled to the Country Club of Missouri for the wedding reception. Before the couple joined everyone at the reception, they and their wedding party took several pictures at some local Fulton favorite spots such as the Columns at Westminster. Cocktail hour included guests enjoying drinks, appetizers, and plenty of great company as guests awaited the arrival of the newlyweds.
The tablescape for this stunning wedding was designed and curated by Pretty Little Things, and Kent’s Floral Gallery. The lush white blooms were soft, romantic, and so sweet. After High Class DJ’s finished orchestrating the grand entrance and special dances, it was time to wine and dine. The sophistication of the evening continued with passed salad, plated meals, and a champagne toast.
The vibe certainly changed once the music started flowing as guests were ready to loosen their black ties and let loose on the dance floor. Ryan even brought light-up sticks to make sure the party stayed “lit”. After a few line dances, and a fraternity serenade the night came to an end.
We provided Event Management services, which included a variety of planning meetings, layout creation, design support, timeline development, confirming final details with vendors, facilitating the rehearsal, managing their wedding day, and so much more.
